Need A Quality Replacement Headset
I'm looking a headset that has similar sound quality to my HyperX Cloud Revolver. Also what do I do with old headset, mine still work but they're worn-out?

I've been happy with my EPOS H6PRO with a Sound Blaster Play 3 USB sound card, I mean these sound good on the onboard audio but mine didn't handle bass well.

I've had them for five years now. The pads are worn out and the cable is tearing in some places. Also the sound coming out of it stutters some times.

I'm very happy with my Arctis Pro wireless setup. Ticks all the boxes for me. Great sound quality, good range on wireless and hot swapable batteries with a fully charged one ready at all times so you never have a dead headset.

^This, best headset ever. I have it since release and instant buy again if it ever breaks. Litterary undestroyable and great sound.

I have had my Arctis 7 wireless headset for around a year and am more than happy.

Turtle Beach Recon 50.

Best headset I've ever had and it's $25. It's really good in Siege, Hunt, and Apex for hearing footsteps. You just need a split cable to use it on PC.

Dunno why people drop over $50 on headsets when you can get this one used for $9.99 sometimes.

Paid 170 for mine, but its hard to get the sound quality that Sennheiser has, plus the last one lasted me well over 7 years and still works great but its just worn.

Most gaming headsets are overpriced and not very good. You'd be best off buying the cheapest set of audiophile headphones you can afford and clipping a microphone to them. I haven't tried it, but the Drop+ PC38X headset gets good reviews. I considered getting that before settling for a cheap, open box set of audiophile headphones.

Hes not wrong. Any cheap audiophile headphone will 'sound' better/clear than the majority of gaming headsets. The only exception being the very expensive high end stuff - Thus overpriced and you usually pay for it being wireless or the aesthetic/software. A lot of gaming headphones emphasise on bass and have a lack of fidelity, from my experience my relatively cheap pair of m50x are better at picking up quiet noises and have better directional sound paired with a soundcard/dac than youd normally from gaming headphones. Ive tried my friends headphones ranging from hyperx, steel series or razer and they all just lack fidelity and all sound weirdly muffled or boomy.

Its the case of people will say 'oh these cheap headset does me well i can hear everything' UNTIL they try a proper/expensive pair of headphones and then realise what theyre missing out on. Same with the 144hz vs 60hz case where people say they cant tell the difference but its all because they havent experienced it

I use a Yamaha HPH-MT5 for my headset with a scarlet dac and a cheap mic. wouldn't go back to a "gaming" headset even if you paid me.
