[FIXED] Razer synapse messing with non-razer keyboard
Ok, this might sound ♥♥♥♥ing stupid but as the title says, I'm pretty sure its happening. I have a redragon k552 keyboard and it worked really well up to about a week ago when it stopped typing things. I thought that keyboard was broken, but I tried it on two other computers and it worked perfectly fine. Well today I reinstalled windows wiped hard drive (becuase i was changing mobos and cpu) and the keyboard worked fine until the razer synapse windows popped up which reverted the keyboard back to how it worked before (hint* NOT WORKING)

I'm to the point of getting a new keyboard, and i dont know how long my k552 can last being thrown across the room in anger. Anyone stumble across this problem before?

EDIT: I deleted razer synapse and resarted, still didn't work :/

EDIT 2: I got it to work becuase the keyboard device was put under usb controllers in device manager. I updated the driver software to a usb composite device and it worked again

What do you need that Razer software for?

Ok so try setting the Mouse DPI to what you want, then fully exit that Razer Software.
It should never be hindering your Keyboard, since it is not Razer it shouldn't affect it at all.

Sounds like yet another issue coming from Razer software.

Honestly, i'd recommend just removing the software entirely. Or at the very least, do what Bad-Motha suggested.

With apps like Razer and Logitech; you should be able to apply hardware settings changes, then fully exit that software. It shouldn't require to leave actively running for such settings to apply. Such as customizing your Mouse Buttons, Polling, DPI for example.
