Liquid/Water Cooler recommendations ?
Hi, so I've been content these last few years just using a air cooling system, 2x 140mm and 1x 120mm Corsair fans and a Arctic freezer CPU fan to keep my system cool,

However EVGA was kind enough to send me a 980ti SC+ ACX2.0+ graphic's card as a replacement for my 970FTW which died(good deal I know) and since reveiving the card I've noticed my CPU temp's rise into the 60's while the card rises up into the 70's, tested playing Witcher 3, also I tested running Pillars of Eternity, CPU was in the 50's, GPU in the 60's

I'm concerned about these temperatures because I'm quite a heavy gamer so was wondering if anyone can recommend me any good or decent liquid cooling system that could help with those temps

My system is if it helps

Corsair Obsidian series 750D case
Gigabyte 990FX G1 gaming motherboard
AMD FX 8350 CPU
EVGA GTX 980ti SC+ ACX2.0+ graphic's card with backplate
EVGA 850w Supernova G2 80+gold PSU
32GB Corsiar Vengence RAM
ASUS Blu Ray drive
Samsung 250 EVO SSD
Seagate 1TB HDD

Thanks in advance

Any reason why it has to be a liquid cooler?

Yeah sorry I should've included water, Just thought they were both the same, shows how much I know about them, I'll edit my heading

Radiator size of 240mm or larger will see a difference that's for AIOs

For something actually expensive yet very nice looking a DYI multi cooler for your GPUs and CPU. Able to get you the finest overclocks

Thanks, do you have any links that I could ponder over

I'm just wondering why it has to be one, instead of a decent air cooler.
Ehm, water is a liquid.

Youre better off getting a new CPU, an i5-6600k and a cheap air cooler like the 212 EVO instead of splurging on a $100+ AIO cooler. (Anything below that price isn't worth getting VS air, anyway).

What I would do is save up for a new CPU, mobo and RAM even if it means foregoing the expensive cooler because the performance will still be much better regardless.

new CPU means new motherboard, not really willing to splash out for both being as my motherboard is barely 2 months old same go's for the ram, plus the 8350 is great for OC'ing

Just thought water would do a better job than air cooling

It actually does a better job can hit a nice overclock and still be under 60 degrees Celsius depending on the radiator size and airflow

My recommended coolers:
Corsair H100i v2
Any 360mm rad
A build your own cooler that will last you longer as long as you take care of it and follow what jayztwocents says about it.
EKC water cooler packs

It does, if we talk about custom ones, AIOs not so much. If you got chassis space, and you're not just going for the looks, then i'd recommend a decent high end air cooler.

I.e. a Noctua D15 wipes the floor with Corsair's H100. They win by noise / cooling performance, as well as in pricing. If you want to have it a little cheaper, try the little brother, the D14, or other competitors like the Dark Rock Pro 3 from Be Quiet.

Build your own cooler stuff recommended by jayztwocents this also includes a wetbench and sleeved cables:

Another DYI link but this one has the kits and a custom loop builder:

I see better performance on my 8350 with Corsair liquid cooling especially for overclocking. If not overclocking air should suffice.

Thanks, have been looking at the D15 since you mentioned it, trying to find out if the Cooler will cover the Ram Slots, some site's say it does, others say it doesn't, even PC part picker says there is no compatibility issue's, but they did say the same for my last cooler and i had to drop from 32GB to 16GB ram, but the cooler would save me around 20bucks over the liquid cooler

Do you know what temperature's you've been getting if you don't mind me asking

Fans can obv. be moves as wanted. Up / down, or placement. Just measure first before you buy. That's the main downside of these monsters, they're quite large.
