PSU Sleeved extension cables or Sleeved cables?
I read that the sleeved extension cables can lead to some power efficiency loss, is it true and if it is, is it something noticeable? And are they safe?

I'm thinking on getting white cables either from bitfenix or cablemod, but the extension versions are way cheaper when compared to the all new sleeved cables and they have only exactly the ones that i want to change. The psu shroud has plenty of space to accommodate the extension version so that wouldn't be a problem.

So which would be a better option?

Let your pocket decide, the full cables look better IMO, full custom better still, if its worth 2 to 4x the price, only you can say.

I agree the full cables do look better, but my pocket says extension cables, i can get the full cables for around 120€ (cable mod) but again i find that a bit expensive specially because I'll only use 3 of them.

Thanks for the video, that was a good help, I'll go with the extensions which are cheaper and i guess I'll go with cable mod, they seem to be of very good quality even the extensions.

Yeah custom cables can get expensive, I dropped about £300 on them on my main rig, mind you, that was because the full off the shelf set (all white) ended up being a bit to short for the huge phantek enthoo primo, so I dug deep and went full custom for the second set (white to black fade on EVERY cable), 'luckily' , that original kit is now being used in my couch rig, so it wasn't wasted, the advantage to always running the same psu model lol.

Yeah i heard that full custom sets can get even more expensive and in my area i don't think i could find someone with enough skills to do it, not me for sure it would all go up in flames definitely. Lol they do look even better though.
Already ordered the sleeved cable extensions (cablemods, they seem to have good quality from what i saw on reviews) so i won't have any issues with the cables being too short.

Anything with a special brandname attached to it, is probably just gravy. It's only a power cable, right? Just look for a safety certificate, and you should be fine. They will probably not even sell unsafe cables.
