Sennheiser PC37x sound leakage?

I'm in the market for a new headset and I came across the Sennheiser PC37x. I've seen some reviews and videos on them and they seem pretty nice. However I do have one question about them that I hope I can get answered. I've used open-back headphones (Sennheiser HD 598 SR) before along with a desktop mic (AT2020) and if those headphones played any kind of moderate to loud sound whilst playing a game or watching a youtube video, my microphone would pick it up and play it back to anyone I was talking to on discord. So leading into my question, due to the open-back design of this headset, if I were to play a game while talking to my friends in discord, would they be able to hear my game?

It shouldn't pickup such noises if you properly enable Echo Cancellation + Noise Suppression for your Mic in whatever app(s) are record with. Helps to have a Mic of that caliber a good 6+ inch away from your head also to avoid it picking up odd background noises also.

Well my pc uses realtek drivers and the echo cancellation and noise suppression "enhancements" actually makes the mic sound a lot worse than if it were disabled. And if I were to purchase that headset I don't think I'd really be able to adjust the mic that far lol.

While the driver options allow for those, I would instead look in the actual app you are using instead. Such as Discord or others, which provide their own settings for this.

Oh yeah my mistake, yeah I have those options enabled already in Discord. For whatever reason when I had those headphones my mic still picked up sounds that my headphones leaked out. Could have been my sensitivity or volume settings that I had but I don't know. Maybe I'll pull the trigger on them once I have the money. Would you happen to know if massdrop does returns, just in case it doesn't work out?
