product page just says 2nd and 3rd gen intel processors so the best you can get on that platform is an i7 3770
also where would i find a i7 3770 ?
ebay or second hand computer parts store is your only hope.
find out the model of your motherboard and google to see if it supports the i7 3770 because some OEM boards don't support higher tdp cpu's
download cpu-z and once installed go to the mainboard tab

does that look familiar? have a look at the board if cpu-z is not reading it
apparently the board does support the i7 3770 but it was advised in that post ^ to get the i7 3770s which is a lower tdp cpu.
