Overclocking 5600G graphics
Hi,
Can someone direct to a good guide for overclocking the graphics on a AMD 5600G.
I briefly tried using ryzen master but I found that it would load the settings on start up and the CPU and graphics would run at 100% full time. I like to keep my fan noise down so I like the fact that windows throttles evey down when not in use. What I want to do is just raise the top end of the graphics from 1900 to 2000 or 2100. My cpu runs very cool, using a cooler master hyper 212.
So I have a 5600G cpu an asus Prime II motherboard.
Any help would be really appreciated. :claptrap:

Showing the iGPU to be running at 100% full time does not mean it is at 100%.

Maybe I should have clarified... Using a program like HWmonitor, I could see that the Cpu was at
4450 Mhz all the time.. I'm sure in task manager the cpu was not using 100% of it's resources, all the more reason I don't really want to run it at 4450Mhz (Aprox.) all the time... the same for the GPU running at 1900 Mhz

and the effective clock?

Not really sure what you mean.... I'm looking for a guide to overclock the GPU (or Igpu) on the AMD 5600G cpu.

The effective clock shows you the real clocknumbers. They are mostly generaly just a bit lower then what is shown usualy but can sometimes be helpfull to indicate bottlenecks or similar.

Okay, I've done a little reading on-line and think I know what you mean by effective clock. I really don't have a way to find that out. I have HWMonitor and CPUID installed. I uninstalled ryzen master quite a long time ago.
I'm really looking for a guide that would allow me to get a slight overclock in the bios, that would still allow everything (CPU/GPU) to run a bit slower when not heavily in use. I hesitate to just go exploring through the Bios on my own, without some guidance.

Advanced CPU Settings in a tweaker section or the AMD Overclocking section, the one with a disclaimer. Infinity fabric and DRAM speed is just as important as IGP though.

There's this but it'd be easier just to walk through with someone lol https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ou8PDY-HnOM

I've gone into the bios and tried something very basic using the overdrive settings.
