Turning on Xbox one s without rf board
As the title says I’m trying to test it the rf board on an Xbox one s is bad and need to know if it is possible to turn it on without it thank you

Well you can of course turn on a wireless controller without a receiver, but the issue is that the circle LED system will just go around and around because there is no active receiver to connect to.

Yes I know to press the button to turn it on. what I’m trying to say I think that might be broken and upon removal of the rf board which the button is on I need to know if there is another way to possibly force the Xbox on

What exactly are the symptoms which you are troubleshooting?

Not turning on. It does make noise when clicking the button but never comes on everything is plugged in properly with multiple cords tested so I’m sure it’s something within it I believe it is the power supply as I just tested it and it’s max volt output is 10 volts when it should be 12

Probably a burned out mosfet keeping it from powering on fully and properly.

Just chuck the damn thing. Unless you have a heat gun and a very high zoom magnifier and know where to get those tiny spare electronic parts; good luck doing a dam thing about it.
