You're going to have to bite the bullet and pick one or the other. I recommend the latter, because if you screw something up, it's on you. If HP does, it's on them, and they generally know what they're doing.
May I recommend packing a bag of candy when you send it out along with a nice, handwritten note thanking them for taking care of your computer. They remember this stuff, and chances are you'll get your computer back faster.
OP, just had a look at some YT videos and sadly it looks like the heatsink assembly has to be removed in order to remove either of the fans as there are screws attaching the fans located behind heatpipes.
Your only options are...
A/ Live with it, but it will likely eventually fail, and if you don't want to DIY then it's best to B
B/ Return for warranty repair
C/ DIY but you will need some TiM clean and thermal paste as well as a new fan
How you Laptop Fan(s) function is all predetermined within the BIOS Firmware.
That's a rather stupid move if the device is still under warranty. Let's hope HP doesn't care or notice and refuses warranty repair cause normally this voids warranty and then you can replace the internal fan(s) yourself.
Those "Warranty Void if Removed" stickers are completely illegal.
I've done this hundreds of times. It's does not void the warranty. As long as you don't physically break something in the process.
