Anandtech did a tech test on several cpu technologies. 8700k had 17% higher IPC than 2700X. The i7-7820X was 21% higher.

rofl. You've been listening to the influencers too much.

Open the image in chrome.
Rt click. Select search google for image. It will show the sites it can be found on. Add "site:anandtech.com" to narrow it down if you wish.
