Realtek issues
I built a new system and I installed the Realtek Universal driver from my mobo manfacturer's site. (MSI) It seems that I installed the driver ok. I unzipped the folder, opened it, and clicked the Setup.exe. And the driver shows in device manager, etc. The issue is, everything that I read says it includes the HD Audio Manager but it didn't. I went to program files but have no realtek/audio/HD.2, or whatever it's called. It's supposed to contain RtkNGUI64.exe. Apparently that is the Manager. But I don't have it. I looked all through the download folder for that file but it isn't in there either. I can't seem to find anywhere to download the Realtek HD Audio Manager or the Audio console, which I read works better than the Manager. Every time I search for it it's on some sketchy site that wants me to install their garbage with it. If anyone can help me out that would be awesome.

Nevermind, I see what the whole issue is now. You have to install Realtek Audio Manager from Windows Store.

that should install with the correct driver, did you get it from windows updates or the mobo mfg site?

Yes bring up Classic Control Panel and see if you see the Realtek "crab" icon in there for the audio manager app. It might be installed but for whatever reason is not set to "Start with Windows / OS Startup"

WINKEY+R
type CONTROL
press Enter
the realtek audio manager isnt needed for it to work, but is needed to configure its intputs/outputs

I can't find the manager or control panel for it anywhere. That's my issue. It didn't install with the driver. And I can't find it in the download folder for the driver or anywhere else. I searched all over for it and it's not on my system.

Yes I know that's where it should be. For some reason I do not have that file.

try installing the driver again, if it has options make sure to install all of them
WarNerve 19/mai./2022 às 19:43
I have no Realtek folder at all in program files. I do in Program Files (x86), but it does not contain the HDA folder that contains the panel, or manager. Whatever it's called.

I have done this three times. It doesn't contain it. I've even manually looked all through the download folder.

I just linked it but you seem to not see the post or what?

On the MSI site for your motherboard, whats in DRIVERS is just the Driver.
I clicked on UTILITY tab there and you will see the same link I posted above in Post #16

uninstall realtek drivers..
install new realtek drivers... takes few minutes ...
reboot ...
connect to internet
go to webpage that bad motha linked in post #16
install app...
should work ...
the problem is microsoft trying to take control of everything...

Realtek HD Universal Driver does NOT contain the HD Audio Manager, you can see that there is no installer in the zip file.
What you could do is install driver package(look for 100+/200+ MB) from B350 Carbon(has the same 1220 codec) and install the universal driver after.
