CPU Cooler Suggestions.
I was looking at Arctic Liquid Freezer II 360 and EK-AIO 360 D-RGB but dunno if they will fit in my case, i have an Lian Li Lancool 215. What is the max lenght for an AIO in that case? (in CM would help) Or if somone has a good suggestion, atm im using wraith prism for my 3700x but im thinking on upgrading to 3800x3D.

Probably best to stick a big air cooler in there, beQuiet or Noctua.

Can't go wrong on a CPU such as those with something like BeQuiet Dark Rock Pro 4

Most AIO-LC are over-priced junk. If really going this route look at NZXT X73

The Prism is generally quite poor and loud, but received the hype because it's better than any stock cooler Intel released. If you're going for the 5800x3d then you'll need a high-end cooler. I hear they can get a lot hotter than a 3700x, which is already a hot chip. You could probably get away with a massive air cooler like the D15, but if you go closed-loop you will probably need a big expensive one.
been working good so far. :) but thats on a 3700x.

just get the 280mm version, they get like 95% of the cooking performance of the 360mm
I have a noctua NH-d15 chromax.black. And it keeps my cpu around 46 to 48 C when under load like gaming. I highly recommend. My cpu is a ryzen 9 3900x.

I have a 3700X and used the stock cooler with it for some time. I initially planned to get aftermarket cooling, since I like something overkill so it keeps the noise level not only low, but more consistent, but I ended up putting it off slightly because there was just... nothing wrong with the stock cooler. It wasn't silent, but it was definitely not loud. There was some variance in noise but it wasn't extreme.

That said, I did still upgrade it and I now have a Dark Rock Pro 4, which is needless to say much quieter and keeps it much cooler.

I wouldn't try and use the stock cooler with something like a 5800X3D, of course.

Yes NZXT X63 would be fine

go with a AIO if you want the best cooling.dont believe the hype while a air cooler
hits max temp immediatly a AIO takes much longer to reach max temp if ever.a air cooler
can only compete with a AIO when the cpu on both are maxed out for enough time
for the AIO to reach max temp.which under normal conditions is never.while the air
will hit max temp almost instantly.something they never tell you.

Have had zero issues just air cooling all my PCs over the years and even when the room temp was over 34*C I didn't have any issues.

Pre-paackaged AIO-LC are gimmicky junk. Most air coolers stomp them out easy.

While some AIO can do ok... for how long? You have to replace them every 3-5 years or so and that's if you don't have a premature failure.

im looking towards EK-AIO 280 D-RGB but....
The only reason i got a new case was that the 6800XT did not fit my old case also it had two big front fans so that was also a selling point for me.
The thing is, would it be stupid to remove those two front fans and install an EK-AIO 360 D-RGB insted? Or leave them as is and just have EK-AIO 280 D-RGB at the top.

NZXT Kraken X63 RGB 280 better or on par with EK-AIO 280 D-RGB?
