You may also need to install steamworks
https://partner.steamgames.com/doc/features/common_redist
check what versions are installed and see if the one it was trying to install was listed
im confused on what might trigger that to come up?
Is that a normal thing that might happen or? And why on an uninstall..?
So am I ok or?
uninstalling might if the game tries to remove them
most of the time if they are installed it will know and skip
Not sure what triggered that…I also havnt been to any sketchy sites of randomly downloaded stuff from anywhere…I just hope it’s an Offical MS download..it just popped up when rainbow was uninstalling so I clicked yes wasn’t sure if I needed it or not etc
Just hope the computers fine (sea of thieves was stuttering off and crashed and on the other night but I ran some of my usual games and they seemed to run fine) etc..
Also seen it as I have most of games uninstalled havent played for long a while decide to reinstall it presto I get that as well.
the .net framewor is not as often did you delete any folders uninstall steam?
…am I good or is that odd or?
Earlier versions of Windows 10 as well as 8.x will have earlier versions of 4.x which can be updated with a redist, as well as installing it from scratch on Windows 7.
