Why do my desktop icons randomly get green check marks?
It's been happening for the last couple of days where whenever I finish playing a game, all my game icons on my desktop will have a green check mark. I've read that this has something to do with OneDrive, but... I don't have OneDrive on this machine. So what is it?

I've seen sometimes on other person's machine. It might be just bugs on Windows.

Do you have Norton or another AV software? Norton has a backup feature which adds green ticks to those files which have been backed up.

Oh, I have Windows 11, and no Norton. I don't really have any backup software on this PC. I generally just upload it through the browser.
