Runs at a solid 60 FPS on most Laptops @ 1080p all day long.
With the draw distance cranked up and the higher-end shader and texture packs, even a beast rig can start to chug.
I love BSL and Epic Adventures, but trying to use them together and it starts lagging pretty bad.
What does it matter if some random laptop "can" run it in a different configuration? That is irrelevant here. Look at the video OP posted. Most laptops have onboard video, and are generations old at that, and I'd say that no, "most laptops" won't handle something like what OP showed all too well.
when bread is baked some parts are split at the surface, and these parts which thus open, and have a certain fashion contrary to the purpose of the baker's art, are beautiful in a manner, and in a peculiar way excite a desire for eating. And again, figs, when they are quite ripe, gape open; and in the ripe olives the very circumstance of their being near to rottenness adds a peculiar beauty to the fruit. And the ears of corn bending down, and the lion's eyebrows, and the foam which flows from the mouth of wild boars, and many other things- though they are far from being beautiful, if a man should examine them severally- still, because they are consequent upon the things which are formed by nature, help to adorn them, and they please the mind; so that if a man should have a feeling and deeper insight with respect to the things which are produced in the universe, there is hardly one of those which follow by way of consequence which will not seem to him to be in a manner disposed so as to give pleasure. And so he will see even the real gaping jaws of wild beasts with no less pleasure than those which painters and sculptors show by imitation; and in an old woman and an old man he will be able to see a certain maturity and comeliness; and the attractive loveliness of young persons he will be able to look on with chaste eyes; and many such things will present themselves, not pleasing to every man, but to him only who has become truly familiar with nature and her works.
Can you run a userbenchmark and post the actual link here?. I don't know anything at all about Minecraft, but seems the fix is there and so it just drives up your resources when in use. Is that the case? have you monitored your resources when applying the settings and seen if your resources are just being hogged up?. From what I understand Java is like the least resource friendly gaming engine/language. Also just a side note, your pc isn't really high end, it's probably mid-end now if not a little bit over. Not trying to knock you because my pc is about the same in specs.
Have you tried it also with mipmap off?
A little boy asked me to install Minecraft for him . Well , i helep him . I told him -There re other games that are better , and he wanted them too . I met him later and asked him whether he was still playing Minecraft . The answer was - No !
Yep , kids are like copy , they re inclined to copy . A friend said it was cool , yep , i want it too . LOL .
Yep, every one is free and can choose what wants but i ve got to say . Open your minds , be yourself ! Like what you really like , not because someone has told you it s good !
But I'm NOT talking about that. We are specifically talking about the original game, no mods.
I've fixed my issue either way
Resolution 2560*1440
1080ti and ryzen 7 3700x
115fps smooth, capped at 120fps, and might drop to 85-90 when around a ton of particles.
Try using a different Java install and see how much of a difference it makes.
If you can't help with the purpose of the thread, why post? This post wasn't asking for opinions on the game. It was someone having an issue with a game and seeking advice on it.
While the OP didn't mention mods (outside of the fact that they are using OptiFine), they are definitely using shaders. That is a far cry from being comparable to how the original game runs.
Nobody is talking about how well the vanilla game can run except for you. It's not relevant here. Everyone else is instead addressing the conditions OP is running the game in, because that's what is relevant.
