Question for LG C1 owners
Does the C1 (and upcoming C2) support 1440p 60hz or 120hz natively? Without forced resolution (not sure what that means)?

I ask because my video card won't be able to do 4K 120hz, but it's more than capable of doing 1440p 60 or 120hz.

Just want to make sure the TV support this resolution / refresh rate combination without some complex tweaking on the TV / OS end.

As far as I know, Forced Resolution applies to the resolution not the refresh rate. This is an annoying thing that some TV's have that runs the TV at a higher resolution than it will actually go. I have an LG TV that has this and it is a right pain. I needed to download a special editor and delete the forced setting from the available resolutions because many games became confused thinking the forced resolution was the native resolution.
or the tv scaling non native res to its display res

scaling a 1080p image to 4k is done evenly, double pixeled
1440p to 4k will be blurry, since its not scaled evenly

it takes some processing power to scale res, giving the tv even more display delay

better off using gpu scaling (centered timings) to letterbox the lower res in the center of the higher res display if you want the best image quality

According to Rtings, C1 supports 1440p @ 120hz natively. I hope by "natively" it means the pixels aren't scaled (and thus blurry). I have a 980 Ti and intend to game at anywhere from 60-120 fps at 1440p with a C1.
