but you need a license key to have access to window feature and to not have a overlay on your screen saying that you have a unactivated window
To activate Windows you will ofcouse need a key, but a key is not required to install and fully use the OS.
its not an overlay its a watermark on the wallpaper on desktop.
well you cant change your wallpaper without workarounds. Removing the watermark... well lets stop at saying it would be illegal. And youc ant use Microsoft support not the microsoft store. And you might get from time to time ond esktop a push up message askign you if you want to activate windows.
or retail hardware shops. Or the MS Windows on line Store.
Do not buy from ebay or similar cut rate on line sellers as the majority of these keys are problematic ( Basically - they are bulk commercial keys. Generally for Pro or Ultimate that get oversold, so even if you do activate successfully initally, you may loose activation down the track when MS's system cathes up ).
You dont need a key for it, ever. That is for Microsoft Store needs; such as an Xbox game like Sea of Thieves for example.
There are some Microsoft client apps that you can't run, but you can find alternative apps on the Interweb.
Here is a legit retailor you can use:

I have the 64 Bit OEM version shown here:
https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16832588491
And here is a price listing...Just don't by it odd of Amazon, I have run into sketchy sales and deals there for Windows 10 and Windows 7.

Explain that please... there is not a thing wrong with that.
Install Win10 > select I don't have a key > turn every setting off on that final screen.
Go do Windows Updates until no more left
Disable Windows handling of Device Drivers
Go download all Drivers for everything and install them until done.
Download ShutUp10 and put that into a folder you wish to run it from; like C:\ShutUp10
Configure the OS how u wish and disable all the junk.
All you will not have in the end is Windows Store Apps
ShutUP Windows 10 will not disable that water mark. You don't even need it..because Quiet
Hours Mode can manually be left on by the user. It also does not get rid of the activation overlay.
"Free Edition"="Unactivated 'demo' Edition"
Features reset theirsleves every month if you do not activate Windows 10.
Dual Boot with a Linux; use Win10 just for Windows OS games
