PC sounds loud
So i have had this issue for a while now and can't determine if it's coil whine or what it is that is causing the PC to sound louder then i remember it working when i first got it.

Here's a video to see if it helps determine the problem

Sounds pretty regular (not like coil whine). Just the fans doing high RPM. Was a game running when you filmed this? Could be an overall temp problem. And are you sure all the case fans running? If one of them died the others might have increased RPM to pick up the slack and 1 fan running at 1500RPM is a lot louder than 2 fans running at 1000..

I did have a game running at the time I filmed this but it sound the same when there's nothing going on and the PC is sitting idle as far as i know all my fans are on and running as i can see the LED from the back exhaust, two top fans and two front fans, the difference is the back one and CPU fan are controlled by the motherboard while the other 4 in the PC run off NZXT Sentry 3.

I am not sure how i'd be able to determine the speed the fans are running at to be honest.

I can provide some screen shots of my temperatures and the fan speed the Fans are running at if need be.

The sentry panel should show you the settings for the 4 connected fans at least. MAybe they're all running on high performance mode?

I have tried running all 3 modes which would be perfomance, manual and quiet and i didn't notice to much of a change.

I just switched it to quiet mode and it still sounds exactly as on perfomance mode. This is very confusing to me.

Well maybe the sentry fans aren't the problem. Still the CPU, back and GPU fans left. I would check temperatures with a program like MSI Afterburner. If they seem fine, open the side panel and try to identify the source.

EDIT: Also check your PC for malware and update antivir if needed. Maybe your rig is doing overtime mining crypto-currency. XD

Well my CPU fan cooler is a Hyper TX3 from Cooler Master with a 92mm fan attached to it. Thing is it's kinda hard to pin point as because i place my ear to difference parts of the case and the high pitch sound comes most from the front fans and CPU area.

motherboard manufacturers have software to control fan speed. asus has fan xpert4, msi has command center, etc.

Manually control ALL your fans.
