but Id pick Corsair
Current trends of others roasting me in other threads in this sub-forum are apparent. Take a look for yourself.
Back on topic. You made a good decision, kenny. Enjoy!
I bought a K60 in 2014 and was blown away by what I'd got for the price. I bought a K70 in 2016 and it was almost unrecognisable - the standard of materials and assembly was third-world by comparison. It was a buggy nightmare, and died completely after a couple of months.
While I can agree that they haven't had any innovation, I don't believe their quality is really any different than before. The entire gaming industry is lacking innovation as well, but we've hit a point where innovation and gimmick have a fine line between them. Not much else one can create to push W to move forward and left click to shoot (generalization, I know, but you should get the point).
Your personal experience with this one keyboard sounds terrible, and I'm sorry you've have to go through it. However, that is anecdotal. These products last plenty of other people many years.
I've had my hands on many Corsair products over the years, and I have distaste for many of their products, but their keyboards are on point. Maybe a little overpriced at MSRP, but at least they typically sell at less.
The STRAFE, while a fully plastic keyboard, is surprisingly excellent in build quality and fairly robust. You won't be breaking it so easily... Unless you use it in a wrestling move or something? Idk... Not sure why people want metal keyboards to be honest.
