How many extensions do you have? which ones are they?. Have you scan for viruses with malwarebytes?. What is on your startup?. What's your running services that ARE NOT default Windows ones?.
All these questions matter. If you don't have the answer to any of these possibly the answer relies in the answer to it.
Only got the basic Chrome extensions and adblock, malwarebytes says everything's clean, startup also only has basic stuff like Spotify, Google Drive, flux etc. I'll check running services. Thanks a lot for replying.
the first is article web search, the second is based on picture web search.
That's not how it was before. Image search barely works now and when clicking an image it opens a site instead of enlarging the image. The article search is now much slower aswell for some reason. Sometimes it reverts back to the original version, but once I refresh the page it's gone.
I read that Google recently removed the ability to enlarge images from image search or removed the ability to go directly to the image. Something to that effect. Has to do with not screwing content owners out of visitors or something?.
if you think something is wrong, do scans of your PC:
1. updated antivirus scan
2. malwarebytes scan (free or trial)
3. hijack this
4. spybot search and destroy.
5. S.M.A.R.T. status of your hdd storage.
