Your TV or monitor should be using RGB 444 in display driver output FULL RGB
and should have the TV or monitor physically set with remote control or buttons to LOW BLACK Black levels unless you are displaying 90's VHS tape or editing and working with 60's and 70's photographic film reels. You see hollywood were cheapskates 70mm film was IMAX quality stuff in the 70's but nobody used it, you can see a bluray disc in 4k called Baraka i think it was where they found some old film 70s reels of 70mm film in the jungle rainforest coz some guy with a camera died? and scanned them in in 4k and sold it as a bluray end of that story. Anyway because hollywood was full of criminal ♥♥♥♥♥♥ pedos who said "film is expensive you wasted it because you misspoke a line now we need to retake we're all going to lock you in a rape dungeon for weeks" people only sold them the cheapest film ever like sticky tape and stuff. or because they were such criminals their film was home made coz they couldnt walk around in public without getting shot in the face. not the high quality IMAX like stuff from companies that developed film technology for a century that was quality and actually a bit pricey if you need enough for 5 cameras and 300x the lenth of the movie. So umm yeah try setting your display output and black levels correctly. 12bit or 10 bit FULL RGB 4:4:4 with black levels set to low and for anything that isnt DP 1.4 or HDMI 2.0 1080p to reach 120hz HDR or 720p for waste of money vertically cut in half monitors selling you two for twice the price each you call ultrawide.

it doesn't even know how to quote posts
Meanwhile he has an extended knowledge about game engines and "audio bits"...
I am hoping to never need it as hopefully in the not too distant future, anti cheat software will play well with linux.
I installed and played aroundwith it with an old machine that odes not meet the spec (BIOS boot and no TPM) , on a virtual machine.
If anyone cares:

or how to make posts smaller and say the same thing, much less quoting anyone
It seems like a lot of misunderstandings about a lot of things, like thinking bit depth leads to linear gains, that extra cores should add linear performance by default, that coders can't code, that "writing something for the coders" is making things ten times better, etc.
i was wasting my time increasing the bit depth of all my shadows, lighting and colours and meshquality and everything else my computer does to beyond 2000 and having only a tiny decrease in performance. Could you imagine having 256bit GDDR6RAM thats dual channel and a CPU that communicates with its RAM at like many times that and having PCI express lanes with monstrously terrifyingly high bit depth and far more of them than anyone could ever imagine just to go the 2bit graphics you're using into your CPU? so it could then run them all in 2bit? or 16bit DOS C++ that would be the biggest waste of time ever, the entire system should be only 2bit binary and run binary files only instead. None of this THOUSANDS of bit depth or billions of bit depth nonsense. just because it gets disturbingly higher quality and more life like by increasing bit depth doesnt mean anybody would actually ever want to do it. Photoquality photorealism and beyond isnt for real people its for deep fake people the fakest of people.
