Problem with Asus motherboard RGB soft
Hey everyone!

I have some strange problem. I have motherboard ASROCK Z390. Recently I started to receive error after booting up the system about some problem with my RGB controller. So, the app also stopped to load. As a result, I decided to to simply reinstall the app. After installing it again, I am receiving this message right after windows is loaded:

Error 0xFFFB
There is no Asr graphics card and Asr USB LED Header!

I really do not get it. I have RGB strip plugged in. Yes. But it was working fine for a year, I think. Or even more. How it even possible that one day it just stopped to work 0_0.
My GPU is Asus GeForce Turbo 1060 6gb.

I tried to google problem. One solution did not help. There was something about writing in "run" console but the commands mentioned there even did not work.

I am starting to think maybe I shall to plug out and then plug in rgb straip and GPU but... I actually doubt it.

Maybe all this happened after some Windows Update...

There is no mechanical parts which could "break" in motherboard. I have been encountering PCs which were decade old and still working as all is ok. I build my current PC in 2018-2019.

I don't know how to uninstall windows updates. Also is it real solution? So, I will be unable to install any updates then?

Your advice is not much helpful.

Thus the software component and me suggesting you uninstall any Windows update that occurred just before it started. Assuming one did.

Maybe a pin was bent and it's gradually worked loose? Of maybe the wire and a small break in it that has gradually worked away for the rest and breaking the connection.

I responded to this

You don't get it, so I pointed out how it could have happened. You even went on to say maybe Windows update so I suggested uninstalling any recent Windows update because you had JUST said it could be related.

Sorry not helpful. Got it. I'll just go talk to the wall

You can uninstall Windows Update. Had you not been so rude and ASKED how myself or someone else could have explained it. Or you could have done a simple web search.

Not a potential solution. Just me talking out my ****

Windows creates restore points at various times including before windows updates so users can revert to before the update incase it caused problems.

Seriously what is the point of coming to ask people for help and then question what they say and be rude because you have 0 knowledge about what they suggest?

Edit, added more but honestly don't care now. Blocking and unsubscribing

after a major windows update, reinstall all the drivers yourself again
windows will go back to default generic drivers that work but often with issues

get the correct drivers from the mobo/model or oem sites
and gpu drivers from amd/nvidia/intel

do not use the cd
go to the mfg sites

if you need help finding them post a cpuz validation link
http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/cpu-z.html
cpuz -> validate button -> submit button

Sorry man, maybe I was wrong somewhere. However, I saw your answer as so short that it didn't help me much. Also I am still trying to understand what exactly could have break. And how. As it appears now - none.
