MSI AIO Pump header
Where do i plug in? To pump fan or CPU fan port?

I used to plug it into pump fan but some clicking noise comes when PC is turning on and heavy loads. I took the PC to where i bought and they advised me to plug MSI Coreliquid 240r's pump to CPU fan header and Radiator fans in to Pump fan header.

Is this right? Now seems okay.

The pump header will always be running at 100%, this is where you want to connect the pump to as the pump should always run at max speed.

If you do not have a pump header you can connect it to a normal fan header and configure it in BIOS to always run at 100%.

If your AIO has fan headers attached to it use those for the AIO fans, as then their speed will adjust based on the temperature of the liquid in the cooler.

If your AIO does not have any attached fan headers use the CPU fan header.

or get a molex or sata power to fan header adapter
the clc may have included one
that will ensure the pump is at 100% all of the time

Motherboard has both Pump and CPU headers. AIO has pump connector separately.
I have that same cooler and have it plugged into the cpu fan header. I've manually set the fan curve in BIOS to 100% 24/7

The clicking/mechanical noise is normal. That is the pump mechanics working and occasionally making noises. The MSI is unique in that the pump is housed in the radiator, pretty sure you were aware of that.

If your noise is excessive or your temps are not what you expect, perhaps try a different mounting configuration.

Currently as I type this, my temps are 23°, i9-10900F.

Yes, when it is front mount it seems to work without any noise.
