Relatar um problema com a tradução
Simple supply and demand economics. Demand is currently higher than supply.
The problem is compounded by the GPU semiconductor market, which, in terms of GPUs, is a duopoly. Most people are unaware that Nvidia also makes chips for cars as well.
It is further compounded by miners hoarding cards for mining rigs.
And then you have the scalpers...
No i haven't been living under a rock, i had cancer for 2 years so i been out of the loop to what is going on. Also the video cards that i usually buy are cheap, i bought two w5500's recently that was only 400 bucks on ebay. So yes i am serious. But thanks for the info.
I only use Workstation GPU's for gaming(Have a few non workstation gpus for backup), etc. So I'm referring to the Radeon Pro W6600.
I had over $1,000 on me and I went to micro center just to see what they had, they had 6600XT's in stock for a staggering $800 bucks, Nvidia, well I could of got a GT710 for $80, I kept my Vega 64 and just bought a few little things for my computer like faster and more ram. Not upgrading any time soon GPU wise lol.
Used market on GPU's is getting kinda bad now as well, use to be able to find 1080tis for around $300 a few months ago, now your lucky to find one under $500. Its nuts.
And that's the way everything works, sometimes something or someone starves the market on purpose to make something scarce to get the prices to go up
It has been happening with diamonds and other 'rare' materials for centuries.
Who knows for sure. Much of the tech media are basically brought and function as advertisers.
