Razer Kraken v3 x Not Detecting Sound

I have a Razer Kraken USB headset that just randomly stopped working. I thought I accidentally switched it off. I went to the sound settings/ sound dialog box and to "recording" tab but I found that it was still the default device. I tried to shout into it with microphone volume set to max. If I shout into other mcirophones, I see a green bar go up and down in the sound control panel next to the assigned microphone. When I shout to the Kraken headset, the green bar does not go up and down. I thought maybe a windows update might have screwed with the drivers, so I went to this website

I tried "update the audio driver software" option and downloaded the the Razer USB Audio controller firmware updated. It said "plug in the USB audio controller to your PC and unplug any other audito headsets before begining the update" and so I did this, but the update button was still greyed out. I think that means it is already updated.

So now I'm at my wit's end, this isn't working at all.

OK nevermind I solved the issue... Apparently there is a physical mute button on the headset itself that isn't labeled.
