It is on an SSD. And like I said earlier, GR Wildlands worked just fine when I was playing it with a friend but now even that game stutters for some reason. So something has happened at some point but I don't have any clue what...
one of my points was also that you just re-install anyways if you haven't. I know I didn't specify that but I would just in case. just a suggestion. If you already did or you can't because your bandwidth is too slow nevermind.
Well the i7 4790K rig is super old so I don't think that would solve anything...xD
this is how you set it up - https://www.reddit.com/r/pcgaming/comments/mlfcsc/a_guide_to_dxvk_on_windows/
just a note, you will get alot of stuttering to begin with when using dxvk on windows while the shader cache is being built, once thats all done, it will be smooth.
No, I got AC Odyssey running better so I don't need that fix now. GR Wildlands is running worse than before though, so not sure what's going on there...
Well it uses better parts than those brand prebuilts as it's a custom one built in the shop. It's still possible though that one of the parts has crapped out...
If nothing works, try reinstalling fresh windows with all drivers updated. It will bound to solve all issues, unless your hardware in faulty.
