Help, I cannot install either Geforce Experience or Nvidia Graphics Drivers I get "an unknown error has occurred" error

yesterday I decided to install the graphics driver that came with my GPU (GT 1030) in order to see how CS GO would perform the installation process started normally then the installer setup removed the old drivers and instead of installing the driver I was presented with "an unknown error has occurred" error. then I decided to install the newest drivers available (511.23) and I got the same error. I tried to uninstall and remove all Nvidia related software (and files and folders) on my PC which I could not do through control panel > Programs so I used DDU software in safe mode in order to remove old drivers then I tried to install the newest drivers again which failed and I got the aforementioned error. I downloaded Geforce Experience from Nvidia.com in order to install the drivers but that one also failed to install and I got the same error. I even located the setup.exe in c;/Nvidia/Display Driver and when I clicked on it I got the aforementioned error. It seems as though anything Nvidia related refuses to get installed/uninstalled on/from my PC which is a weird problem.

I have managed to install to graphics driver through device manager but I still need to Install Drivers normally.

GT 1030... then why bother grabbing the latest driver. It won't help you much.

DDU wipe all 3 brand of gpus via safe mode. Whiile in there with ddu running, tick the box to disable Windows auto driver feature. To avoid Windows Updates auto grabbing drivers. Then reboot and install the 497 driver for Win10/11 that is the DCH type of driver from the nvidia website.

Latest drivers only help the RTX 20/30 stuff really.

I'm not sure if GT 1030 is supported on GeForce Experience.
So I'd suggest to install only graphics driver. (because you already have issue with GeForce Experience)
