Assassin Creed Oddyssey - gpu usage drops in Athens

Hey Guys, i'm having the following Problem. I play in 1440p everything maxed .
When I'm in city Athens my Gpu Usage drops from 96-94 to the 80s or even 70s. At this time my Cpu often hits 100 percent, this causes Frametimespikes from 17-29ms. How is it possible that my i9 is still a bottleneck in this game?

Specs:
i9 9900k @stock 4.7 ghz.
Gigabyte Aorus Xtreme Waterforce RTX 2080 Ti
Asus Prime Z390-A
Gskill 2x16GB 3000MHZ DDR4
Corsair 850RmX
Game installed on SSD
Using the newest drivers
Windows 10 1903 ver

With graphics, the CPU doesn't care a hoot about the resolution, and it certainly doesn't care what type of AA is being used in-game. AA and res is a GPU thing, nowt to do with CPU's.

I already said that CPU doesn't care about AA or resolution - this is a fact by the way. So what on earth or you talking about? If a GPU can't cope, it can't cope, the CPU won't help.

But i with gtx 970 play max settings 1440p even if it not all games at 60 fps and graphics are amazing while he with gtx 1050 cant play max settings 1080p and on medium graphics are very bad i will never allow something like this to happen. Only time it happend was when crysis 1 released and it was running at medium because i had 8600gt and just one week later i bought 8800gt. Ultra graphics(even at 30 fps) or nothing! I dont accept anything else than ultra/max graphics because i want the best graphics that why i upgrade the pc often! Also 2500 is 8+ years old now while it was 6 years old when i upgraded to 1700 from 2500k.

Just like your 970, the 1050 CAN play games at max settings, it's just going to be a stutterfest.

Okay, once again contradicting yourself; you say you want the ''3080ti'' so you can have 60FPS, but in this latest post (and a couple of others) you state that you don't care about framerate, so long as the graphics are fine. So tell me, why don't you get the 2080ti? Or even the 2080?, hell, even the 2070 would do you fine...
If framerate really isn't that much of an issue for you, why on earth do you insist on buying something so powerful, and you would probably never use (/ be able to use because of bottlenecks)?

You upgrade your PC at about what would be considered a normal upgrade period.

Good for you! But comparing our hardware won't help you cover the fact you are indeed wrong saying AC: Odyssey is a very bad optimized game. Sure my hardware is bad, but looks like my performance is still better because I at least do know how to use it.

Try to get rid of this elitism of yours. It doesn't help you anyhow, neither does it help PC community. If anything, you look just not smart. My PC can play tons of games, including modern ones, at around console lever or better, and when I play AC: Odyssey - I don't think how better this particular shadow would look if it was on ultra and not on medium, I think how to outsmart those guards inside the fort to kill em all without raising the alarm, where to get more legendary items with +hunter damage etc. I actually enjoy games. And tbh almost all of modern games are just 50 shades of crap, can't imagine anything that'll make me upgrade my PC right now.

the great thing about computers, is i can enjoy a 4gb system with a 710 just as much as a 2080ti set up, i dont need to play AAA titles by choice some of us play classics and have tons of fun, my system runs games people said i would not be able to, a new system will have twice my power now and still i wont have more fun getting stronger hardware, just will have fun regardless good luck on your build brotha
