Finally someone that knows what they're talking about!
Care to enlighten us to what all that was supposed to mean??
I already said that CPU doesn't care about AA or resolution - this is a fact by the way. So what on earth or you talking about? If a GPU can't cope, it can't cope, the CPU won't help.
Medium is fine on most games, graphics these days aren't garbage.
>I get 37 FPS max
Yeah, probably in a loading screen.
What are your .1% and .01% lows? Those speak more than your 'max' fps.
The 1050 isn't good, but it's far from the worst.
The 20 series aren't well priced, but they're not OVERPRICED. (2080 is still the same price as a 1080ti was, and you get more features, so >???)
No one NEEDS to upgrade, and lots of people don't have the money to either. If a person is happy with the performance they have, it's fine.
Also, if you're so concerned about performance, why don't you get an i9-9900k, and 2 2080ti's in SLI? YOU NEED THAT IF YOU WANT TO PLAY ANYTHING! Using Ryzen 1700 and 970 is bad!!! OUT DATED TRASH!! And you have the money to with your ''130,000 euros'' / ''infinite money.''
(Clearly sarcasm incase you couldn't tell.)
You see my point?
You're happy with your 1700, so why can't he be happy with his 2500?
Just like your 970, the 1050 CAN play games at max settings, it's just going to be a stutterfest.
(Yes, 15-25fps on your 970 is a stutterfest.)
Medium graphics aren't bad, they look fine.
Okay, once again contradicting yourself; you say you want the ''3080ti'' so you can have 60FPS, but in this latest post (and a couple of others) you state that you don't care about framerate, so long as the graphics are fine. So tell me, why don't you get the 2080ti? Or even the 2080?, hell, even the 2070 would do you fine...
If framerate really isn't that much of an issue for you, why on earth do you insist on buying something so powerful, and you would probably never use (/ be able to use because of bottlenecks)?
You upgrade your PC at about what would be considered a normal upgrade period.
I would only call updating every generation ''upgrading often.''
Try to get rid of this elitism of yours. It doesn't help you anyhow, neither does it help PC community. If anything, you look just not smart. My PC can play tons of games, including modern ones, at around console lever or better, and when I play AC: Odyssey - I don't think how better this particular shadow would look if it was on ultra and not on medium, I think how to outsmart those guards inside the fort to kill em all without raising the alarm, where to get more legendary items with +hunter damage etc. I actually enjoy games. And tbh almost all of modern games are just 50 shades of crap, can't imagine anything that'll make me upgrade my PC right now.
