Filmora - Crackling Audio?

Wondershare's online support is a pain so I'm resorting to here out of desperation. Anyone know why my videos are crackling with Filmora? The original files have no crackling sounds, but they're quite audible when previewing and after exporting with Filmora. I've been using this for years without issue so I'm not sure what's suddenly changed. Anyone gor a clue?

or can be drivers
get all of the correct ones from the oem or mfg sites, and amd/nvidia/intel for gpu drivers

Definitely not an issue with specs and the games and my drivers are updated but thank you for the suggestions :)

It might be just a bug.

I had tried a couple cheap video editor, but they did not work well for me.

Then I got Premiere Elements 2022, and I'm happy with that.
Premiere Pro is subscription, but Elements is one time purchase.

The content I make is very simple and requires next to no editing. I just needed something to add clips together and export at 4K. Unfortunately Windows Movie Making ended support without the ability to do 4K.

Issue is obviously in rendering part and not editing part.
So it would not be matter simple or complex editing.

Premiere Elements 2022 has support 4K 60fps.
You can upscale from 1080p to export as 4K as well.

I really hated when the outcome was not well after long time waiting from these bugs.

Yes... I know. I was just explaining why I bought Filmora in the first place, rather than something more expensive and flexible.

Check out Davinci Resolve.
I would highly recommend it since it's free for the basic version that has everything that you want. (if you want to do stereoscopic 3D then you will have to pay, or if you want more 3D effects, but for usual 4k video editing, it has served me well.)

Just about to say this. Davinci Resolve is all you need.

I'd rather pay $100 for Premiere Elements one time.

I did not tracked details, but many of these free download and subscription apps seems used FFmpeg library. And there's some bugs such as frame cut at non-key frames.

if its just video editing software, make sure you have the correct codecs installed

Interesting. I only paid $80 once for Filmora. Perhaps they've changed their payment model since then. I dislike subscriptions.

Davinci was too alien for me.
Reverting to an old version of Filmora worked for me (Filmora 9). Not only does it not crackling sounds anymore, it also exports videos significantly faster. I have no clue why; my settings are the same. Frustrating but at least it's working now.
