Your billing name is invalid because it is empty or contains too many numeric characters.
im not sure what im doing wrong ive put in my address and name and nothing is working ive done my full legal name and changed mt address, i wish error msgs were a bit more helpful.

Why would there be numbers in the billing name?
You are obviously confused and inputting something in the wrong place.

Can you share a screenshot of the page as you see it, with all the boxes blank, as not to share any personal info.

If you are using a Card payment type; the Billing Name should match up exactly as how the name is on the card. Otherwise they might not accept your order. They could care less what the Shipping Name (the name put on the label of the package) is.

When I had this issue it was because my telephone number was too long.

If you are using a Credit Card, Debit Card or Paypal; then the Name and Billing address during your period of Steam Checkout should match that of the Paypal or Card information; if those do not match, Steam will see this on their end.

For example: using Moms Card with permission; you would have to put HER name and address in during the checkout, since that is what the card is tied to.

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
