Replacing GTX 1060 3GB
What card should i upgrade to the cheapest solution possible but yet giving me the best upgrade performance ?

is it an idea to buy another 1060 3gb and run them SLI ? or should i just go for a new card..

A newer card would generally be a better option. SLI was never a good upgrade option IE add a second card five years later... was generally not a cheaper, better option than a new midrange card.

You need to state your budget.

Any 20 series card or lower end 30 series card.

The RX 570 with 8 GB ram (OC) is relatively cheap and gives very good performance.

GTX 1060 DOES NOT support SLI.

All the cards you mentioned are approximately twice more powerful than 1060.
So yes, they are good upgrades at this price range.

There are nothing else, at this price point.
RX 6600 XT or RX 6600 or RTX 2060 or RTX 3060.

Those are all decent options that should be in the 450-600 range depending on local markets. Dont go over 600, and look for good sales as you might get a step up (R/N there is a 6600 XT for 550 with a free game on newegg (just dont plan to return haha)). The XT would be a nice bump in performance over the non.
If you go for the rtx 2060, make sure you get the 12gb variant instead of 6gb.

I can get these prices at my local shop :

RX 6600 XFX Radeon SWFT 210 - 512 dollars

RTX 2060 DUAL EVO - 546 dollars

ZOTAC GeForce RTX 3060 AMP White Edition - 848 dollars (which fits my case best cus its a white build)

Gainward GeForce RTX 2060 12GB Ghost - 558 dollars

so id the 2060 12gb the best choice ? what do u guys think

There is no 12GB version of a 2060. There is a 2060 Super with 8GB, but that's it.
You're talking about the 3060.

Think ill have to go for the 2060 12gb , i want the 3060 white edit , but its so much more up in price i cant see any other choise

was looking at this video tho , not much difference with the 6gb vs 12 gb versions

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YFf06aouYbc

final thoughts , i took a look at 6600 xt vs 2060 : https://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Nvidia-RTX-2060-vs-AMD-RX-6600-XT/4034vs4117

seems like the cheaper 6600 beats its ass...

looking at more tests on youtube , seems like the rx 6600 is the best choice unless u get the 3060

thats good news for me i guess , the 6600 is cheapest and on 18% sale at my store

i dunno , i might be totally wrong , u guys are the experts lol

6600 is the best fps/$$ of the listed cards.
xSOSxHawkens Feb 24, 2022 @ 6:31pm
Though the 2060 wouldn't be a bad option either. You looked at the XT for comparison. The 6600 non XT would be about the same at the 2060 just at a cheaper price.

The 3060 is the most powerful but also a different price class, the 6600XT is the 3060 comparable in both price and performance so.

I was watching some youtube clips comparisons and the 6600 SFT 210 was almost at bottom of the list every test , but i guess thats my best choice right ?

think ill go for that one since its at a 100 dollar discount 18% off
