Try to be, they’re the number 1 thing in my life. I don’t go out, drink, etc. I just stay home and play games / watch movies with them when I’m not working. Or go out with them etc, but yeah I’m always with them. My wife’s around too but vs me, I spend way more time with the kids. The bonds I make with them are all that really matters to me.
I like this.
I want to point out..however..lol
To get her up and running, it cost you $450?
What if her PC couldn’t handle that game? You’d be looking at a $700 graphics card + CPU, PSU, cooling unit, RAM..etc..
Consoles have their place, as “affordable” entry to gaming. My PS4 lasted me..about 6-7 years (at $400) and I expect my PS5 to do the same (but at $500).
A PC, at $1,500 could very well be obsolete in 2 years, and require $300-$1000 in upgrades. This, every 2-4 years, is just a harder entry point for most. (Myself included..I dropped around $980 on a prebuilt, 2 years ago, and at the time it was great..today, I’m starting to fall behind, and in 6 months I expect I’ll be left in the dust.
That being said, PC isn’t bad at all, just costly, and for those that don’t have it..like said to me previously…stick to the console you do have, you’ll have a better experience.
EDIT: I'll also say...that little Series S is pretty impressive. I find it more impressive than the Series X in a way, just because of how small the thing is. And quiet! Makes almost no noise. But man does it pump the heat out, almost unbelievable how hot the air coming out of it is. System feels fairly cool, but that cooling solution sure does its job the exhaust is h o t.
Got a new grafic card for 230 $, and still play every game that is out there.
If i had gotten a console instead, the games alone would have cost a lot more than the games i got on the computer.
You somehow dont see things right.
And also for a good sale.
The optimization seems to be not good atm, i heard.
I bought a new PC, and can play, now!
I wouldn't wait for a sale for this game, that's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard of..lol
This changes open world gaming, it changes the Souls-Borne series in a way that can't be described.
As for the optimization...On ultra settings, there is some stutter for some people, on low/med/high settings, I have not seen any stutter. Even at that, the stutter is 250 microseconds, it's noticeable, but it IS NOT even close to game breaking. In fact, the patch they released today, reduces the number of files needed to load, when entering an area..
It's worth $60, it's not broken, not even close. Go play "launch" No Man's Sky, or AC: Unity, or CyberPunk. Don't listen to others saying it's broken...lol If you meet the minimum requirements, you'll be fine, but it's a hard line. You can't scrape by with a "slightly" slower processor, or GPU.
That's to imply that it's not worth it's current price tag, or that it's so flawed, you should wait to get it.
That's simply not even close to true, and MY opinion, is that it's ridiculous for someone to imply that this game isn't worth it's price tag. So in MY opinion, there is absolutely no need to wait for a sale, and it's worth every penny. Anyone dogging on it, saying to wait for a sale, or don't buy it...well I disagree.
Game is objectively flawed on PC though. There is a reason it was over 60K reviews on Steam and sitting at a "Mixed" rating. It has several technical issues that result in stuttering and frame pacing problems.
