rechargeable nimh/nicd are 1.2v, which is lower than alkaline 1.5v
an alkaline should last 2-4 months in the g305 mouse
in ghub is there a firmware update for the mouse?
It has happened to me where the mouse begins to shut off when the battery gets really low, but then replacing it with a full battery resolves the issue.
You are using the Logitech Gaming Software?
Edit: Ok, you said you are using G Hub. See I don't use G Hub for my Logitech stuff. I just use the traditional Logitech Gaming Software. I never used G Hub. But I assume it would be fine? IDK, the regular Logitech Gaming Software has been working fine for years, so I don't see the point upgrading to G Hub, or whatever.
with ghub you can save a profile to the mouse, and exit ghub, and remove it from startup, to keep that profile in the mouse for every pc its used with
on mine, i set the mouse dpi to a fixed setting, and changed the dpi button bind to show battery level (led on mouse)
and saved the profile to the mouse, and disabled ghub from startup and exited ghub
Yes it does. I should know I am using it right now with lgs. It works just fine with logitech gaming software.
And I don't mean G Hub. I am not using G Hub.
nether are rechargeable. And i just bought both of them.
also i just downloaded Ghub (didn't even know it was a thing until yesterday)
to check the battery percentage, they both claim to be full.
then it randomly shuts off.
like right now, it's working perfectly. but all of a sudden it will just shut off
it's completely random.
i'v even seen ghub's battery indicator go from full - half - red in a few seconds then shut off
and seen it stay at full for hours like right now.
i could suggest cleaning the battery compartment and pulling out the male coil a "tiny bit"
so that it makes a proper connection, other then that if it still doesn't work. then you'll probably need to get a new mouse.
check with logitech's support and see if you can get a replacement.
that said, they look for any reason to not send you a replacement in my experience.
after a little while. the annoying part is that they don't seem to want to honor their warranty.
i moved on to corsair
this is the mouse i currently use.
more or less the same as a g305 but so far it has no issues
