opinions on this 4 TB SSHD?

I wanted to buy SSD but they are too expensive for 4TB for now. Right now i have 1 TB HDD. I will keep that too. And i will buy that SSHD so i can have 5 TB in total. What do you think?

It is worth and will be worth until 4+ TB SSD becomes as cheap as HDD are. When this happens then yes it will not be worth to buy HDD anymore. But until that happens unfrotunately HDD are the only solution for big storage. A 4 TB SSD costs 1500 euros. That the price of a whole computer with high end cpu and graphics card. But 4 TB HDD only at 180 euros . In 2018 they will release 20 TB HDD . And of course HDD speed will increase as time pass. This year i already spent 730 euros for motherboard cpu and ram(ryzen 1700 16 gb 3200 mhz cl15 asus priem x370 pro) when i bought them on March. Now with this 180 euros total price wil be 910 euros for pc upgrades in just one year. That good enought i believe!

Seriously just get like a 500GB - 1TB SSD. You don't need larger than that.
Use HDDs for Games that don't benefit from being on SSD.
You can install all your games across how every many drives you want.
I have like 6-8 drives in most of my PCs, all have Steam with games designated to various drives.
Stop thinking you need a 4TB SSD so you can put everything all on that.
First off your OS drive should be setup in a manner in which if wiped or lost, you actually are not losing anything... what is precious to you should already be backed up, and that backup should also have a backup.

Why to invest buying a 4tb HDD for long years when a HDD can incur into a mechanical issue which means replacing it?
And in few years SSD will become cheaper.

You made the right choice kid.... SSD is a luxury item and it's not worth you going bankrupt just to get the best! In 5 years time, SSD's will be affordable to you.
