Use HDDs for Games that don't benefit from being on SSD.
You can install all your games across how every many drives you want.
I have like 6-8 drives in most of my PCs, all have Steam with games designated to various drives.
Stop thinking you need a 4TB SSD so you can put everything all on that.
First off your OS drive should be setup in a manner in which if wiped or lost, you actually are not losing anything... what is precious to you should already be backed up, and that backup should also have a backup.
And in few years SSD will become cheaper.
