it struggles in recent games at ultra
I mean though I think the 1080 will soon be the basic benchmark for futureproofing (depending on what the software development does given the "premium" consoles)
That being said a 1060 3GB can do most things with tolerable frames.
Some people see a couple games use more than 3gb of vram with ultra settings and call a 3gb card garbage, when all you need to do is turn down textures and AA if needed.
Looking at the games you play it would be just fine for you. I would say $80 is a good deal, even if it's just for a year or two to save up for something better.
But if you want all at max settings with highest AA at 1920x1080p, no, you should go at least for 6gb vram.
All depends by what settings you are fine with.
I am personally fine with high settings and FXAA so 4gb for me should not be a trap for next 2 years (I hope).
You can't keep 60 solid fps at max settings with that GPU.
If you mean average 60 fps is more plausible.
But it isn't that great gaming when it drops under 45/50...
Might also be because i dont have a good cpu.
If you want 60+fps at max settings then save up for a 1070
just high med @1080p at 60 fps
There's no blanket answer for "all" games, you'll need to do searches on individual games using the same cpu/gpu, google or youtube it.
