Can "broken" motherboard cause problems to my mouse?

I currently have a "broken" motherboard. Because of it my computer restarts once twice and sometimes even three times a day. Im getting a new one thos Christmas but I ordered a new mouse(Rival 100) and im wondering if the mobo is broken,can it break my mouse when it restarts? I havent had any problems with my current mouse but my old one broke when the pc was running and i was in-game. It was a cheap 20E 1-2 yr old mouse tho. CAN I USE MY NEW ORDERED MOUSE TO PLAY OR WILL IT BREAK?

Yes of course. Anything on the board could potentially now be dead if the Motherboard is having major issues. Replace the board; either via out of pocket replacement, or via warranty.

Try the mouse on another machine to rule it out as being the culprit.

Restarting multiple times a day sounds like a CPU cooler problem, rather than a motherboard issue.

As I said,im getting a new one this Christmas. Nothing broke yet but im still scared. Sadly, I dont have any other machine to test it on.
So this basically means I just have to wait till Christmas to be able to play again :(

Btw if anything breaks because of the motherboard,can I still send it back to warranty?

So a friend of mine,that is good in computer(he has his own shop or smthn like that) replaced it with an old one thst he had. From that dsy it kept restarting. He has checked for temps and any other thing. But he has come to the conclusion its the old motherboard thst is causing it.

Most Motherboard has around 2-5 years warranty, depending on brand/model
So yes most likely under warranty which you can have the manufacture replace.

Why... wouldn't the graphics card fit onto the motherboard? That makes absolutely no sense. All motherboards have the same mounting system for GPUs. There's no difference between my current MSI and the Gigabyte I bought five years ago. Or even the $60 MSI office board in my father's HTPC. Any one of them could mount any of the GPUs I currently own.

Or are you suggesting you were using a motherboard that was so old it doesn't have standard PCI Express?

I honestly dont know. I wasnt there when be installed it. Thats just what he told me =))

Imtalking about the gpu,cpu and the mouse. If any of them break because of the motherboard i can still replace it,right?

So basically If nothing broke yet and its only causing my pc to restart,can I plug it in? My mouse just arrived.
