If you need to monitor things like cpu, gpu, ram, vram usage... do that with an in-game overlay (OSD) such as with MSI Afterburner + RivaTuner (RTSS)
It is still a good idea to have Task Manager run in background, minimized. Then you can access it with ALT+TAB. Just set game to Borderless Window instead of Full Screen

you can put system monitoring stuff on it, or chats or browser walkthroughs for games
