How to see task manager ingame

How can i make it so that task manager can be seen while ingame. I opened task manager, right clicked and set to always on top but then i cant get back into my game, it just minimizes when i click on it. Anyone able to help? Thanks

The only way I know of is to put your game in a window, instead of full screen. That's the way Windows has always worked. Even the XBox Game Bar will disappear when you click on the full screen game.

Why would you need to?
If you need to monitor things like cpu, gpu, ram, vram usage... do that with an in-game overlay (OSD) such as with MSI Afterburner + RivaTuner (RTSS)

It is still a good idea to have Task Manager run in background, minimized. Then you can access it with ALT+TAB. Just set game to Borderless Window instead of Full Screen

2.5in screen mounted to side of case setup as 2nd screen for task manager and such

you can put system monitoring stuff on it, or chats or browser walkthroughs for games
