Is USB type C the correct cables for Andriod ?
Pretty much in topic, looking for some new replacement cables/longer cables.

Any half decent / quality USB C cable will do.

Type of USB connector and OS are unrelated. Post the brand and model of your phone, or look up pictures of USB connectors and compare them with your current cables.

That doesn't have USB-C.
It's an older phone using Micro-USB.

The monoprice ones just wear out fast.

Buy braided cables, never thin ones.
There are also flat USB cables which aren't too bad.
Thinner cables break faster due to the wiring inside getting broken from the various bends and pulls that have occurred during usage.

some of the super thin cables use solid conductors, harder to bend and break easier

Thin cables also have never gotten along with Phones I buy, such as LG or Samsung, they'll have a pop-up that says "Charging Slow"

That never happens when I buy the thicker guage braided cables.

Just to add, these cost more but are well worth it. Fed up of telling my sister and nice NOT to buy the cheap 3 cables for the same price as I pay for a single cable. They must buy new cables every 3-6 months. Where as I still have cables I've had for a decade that still work

Cheap and thin = they'll break because they are thin. More so when it's cold and things get brittle.

Can recommend Syncwire and Ugreen branded cables, I tend to find it's worth paying a little more for better quality ones as they do last longer.

Cost more? All the good cables cost just as much as all the cheap ones.
Like $5 a cable.

Maybe where you are. Sure there are some poor quality cables that the companies sell them the same price as the more expensive variants but most of the thinner and weaker cables here tend to me cheaper than the better quality cables.
