Your missing the point. The newegg computer has a better price/performance then the NZXT one for approx the same price.
Re-read it. Slowly.
"this is the cost of labor and brand name mostly"
Cost: Putting it together
Cost: BRAND NAME.
It's like buying apple stuff; often you're paying significantly more, for significantly less performance.
You don't know what the performance is going to be until you actually run the computer. You can argue the CPU/GPU are stronger than the ones on the other pc but a computer is an entire system with multiple components that affect each other. It's not like you're running the CPU and GPU by themselves independently. The motherboard/cooler/memory/psu affect performance.
Most likely it will be stronger performance wise than the other one like you're saying. But I take other things into account when determining value (like the things mentioned in last paragraph). So if you want to ignore motherboard/cooler/memory/psu then definitely get it. You might luck out and have one that works for years.
I'm really not.
So? Buy the newegg computer.
No, it's not. But that's not really what you're doing. It's all theatrics and hyperbole. It's attention seeking nonsense. If you don't want to be criticized for those things, don't engage in those behaviors.
It's clickbait. And typically garbage content relies on it. And speak-O-the-devil.
People wanna put it together for the cheapest costs involved, multiple parts from multiple places? Ok, cool, that's preferable as economically valuable.
People want to have it built for them from a generic recognized store? Ok, cool.
People want to have it built for them from a place that assembles it in their HQ in the States? Brand name and labor will be a definite cost factor. Ok, go for it.
That should be the end of it for the OP. If people want to research before buying to get the best price, they can. They can also choose not to or to just throw money at it, at their will.
