Is it possible to tell if this is the older version that is faster?

Hard to tell the exact specs because AData keeps changing it.

Yeah, that is part of the problem. Adata made changes to the components, controller and NAND, that isn't reflected by the model/label/SN.

The best way to check is to look at what model controller you have. You likely want the original SM2262EN or SM2262ENG.

Unfortunately, at least from what I have read, you bought at a time where there was potentially multiple different revisions on the market.
