I am now regretting I sold my 2060S

Few months ago I sold my 2060S. I thought I bought 3060 or 3060 Ti to replace it. But no. No. Here I am looking GTX 1050 Ti prices 250-300 euros, so I could play something else than emulators. :D But I guess I just wait. I wait and wait and wait. Maybe I buy the next RTX series. Summer is coming and I have no time to play that much anyway.

AMD is going to release their new RDNA3 cards next year that are going to be 3x faster than their current ones. Maybe then you will be able to get one of their RDNA1 cards

I regretted selling my 2080 last year for 400. While i could have sold it for double these days. But luckily i was able to buy a RTX 3060 for 480, So not a huge loss. And the performance is very close to a 2080 with more VRAM.

and discord channels like Falcodrin, thats how i got mine.

Yeah agreed, i still have my 2070 non super and my old 970 that i upgraded from. lol im so unlucky i cant ever get the new hardware when i can actually afford it,.

Damn that's why I never sell my old one when I upgrade and always keep a spare rig running. When I got my 3080 I kept my old 1070 ti rig, she doesn't get much use these days but it's good to have for emergencies.

I feel for you man, hope you can find something soon. This supply shortage is unprecedented and really sucks. Hopefully you can find a way to score a 3080 ti since they will be releasing this month (if it's not too expensive)

Yeah. I got 400 euros for my 2060S, I paid 490e when it was new. So I think I got good money for it, but I didn't expect the prices to get this high. I though "Well, I sold it now, I am going to buy 3000-series later". Nope. Not with these prices. 3060 base model is about 700 euros here. There is no way I am going to pay such money. Well, live and learn :D

But true, summer is coming and usually during summers I don't game that much. Hopefully the situation is better when winter comes again.

I was even planning to buy Xbox or PS5 but those are out of stock too. Strange times we live in.

Yes. And the situation is not better in console gaming either since you cannot get new consoles anywhere. Even the crappiest GPUs are way overpriced ATM. So I've been playing with my iGPU. I don't play much these days anyways so I thought it was a good move to sell my 2060S, but I forgot there are few awesome games released I would like to play...But I'll live :)
