Higher vibrance monitors are brighter, and it's the brightness that can cause eyestrain.
I have something similar happen to me, and my father gets it often.

Try turning the brightness of your display down (you'll lose some vibrance in the colours, but honestly it doesn't ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ matter if headache/eyestrain stop.)

The best option is to take a brake immediatly when you feel pain.

If you don't want or can't do a break then try putting vibrance and brightness down.

Another good option would be buying gaming glasses, search for them.

Hope I helped you :rsdihead:

Gaming glasses are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, and don't actually work, they just filter blue light, and monitor doesn't generate all that much blue light anyway, so using them is just silly.

If it`s really 1440x1080 and not typo then you are using non-native resolution for your monitor and this is usually less sharp and more strain for eyes. Would suggest switching to your monitor native resolution.

Get your blood pressure checked and have a checkup too. Health can affect that stuff, especially if you're older.
