Is my rzyen 5 1400 bottlenecking my Rx 560?

For example in Doom with FULL HD the GPU usage is at 99%, but the cpu usage just goes crazy with 100% as max, and lowest to 0% , random spikes.

If your GPU sits at 95>% it's not being bottlenecked.

I would however look into why your CPU usage is all over the place, I never found DooM to be that phsyically CPU demanding, and sat at a pretty flat usage.

I can't remember my cpu/gpu usage stats but it always played at great frame rates with my R9 380 - suggesting my i3 6100 didn't ever get in the way.

Something is deff wrong my quad core nor my ryzen hit 100% usage thats at the fps cap at 1080p are you sure something wasnt running in the background?

Which r5 is it? Also have you checked for viruses and updates etc could be malware or something with windows

It is a Ryzen 5 1400, Do you think that i need to restore my windows. I thought about a fresh installation withouth losing my data. I think that maybe I have some problems with windows, for example,i have seen the disk usage at 100. Should I give it a try?

Hm not the perfect comparison but shows the point rx 560 and a 1300x its not hitting 100% so id say yeah do a restore point or run malwarebytes or something and check for viruses malware etc

In any game? Idk im sure some of the really cpu heavy ones are gonna push it close to 100% usage

That depends on you. If you set the low settings and low resolution - it might bottleneck in every single game. If you set high resolution and high settings - then GPU will. That's it.

Pegging at %100 is unusual but %70 - %80 seems normal for that cpu,edit, in that game ^..

What resolution are you at ?

Why is that, and for example, what if I wanted high fps with low settings?
