GTX 1660 or 1660ti?
Post closed:
Will go 1660 unless the ti's extra ports seem better at the POS.

Getting an ASUS GeForce GTX 1660 Phoenix OC 6GB tomorrow.

Please comment below the pros and cons between that and the ti.

1660 = $384
1660ti = $450

The two points I have noticed so far:
1. ti has dual fans.
2. ti has more ports.

It is not available but you can get a ASUS Turbo RTX 2080 8Gb GDDR6 Graphics Card for $1065.90

IIRC, Turbo models use blower style cooling, which are garbage. That's why it's cheap.

Well, if in your area the problem is that the more powerful the card you get, the more you get ripped off, might as well go with the weaker card to get ripped off less.
ASUS Dual RTX 2070-O8G 1 x HDMI 2.0, 3 x DisplayPort, 1 x USB-C

$1,072.17 AUD

That is the dearest one actually available locally. We have a one dedicated PC part store only and its very costly to have them shipped in.

I am not from the mainland, (prefer not to say where exactly due to privacy,) so its really dear to get it imported here from Melbourne or Sydney even.

There are alot of ex-miners here and general skullduggery so prefer to buy brand new from the one legit local store to save being scammed lol

Just hopped back on quickly.

I have found an Asus Turbo RTX2060 6GB for $552.80.
My limit is $500 max, but I am wondering your opinion on whether it would be worth waiting another month or two to get that? From the specs I have seen it is FAR more superior than the 1660?

BUT I know my Ryzen3 will cause a bottleneck so how much of the GPU would I be actually accessing anyway in the immediate? (may get a better CPU later but for now I want to stick to Ryzen3 specs)

also https://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Nvidia-RTX-2060-6GB-vs-Nvidia-GTX-1660/4034vs4038 2060 is a lot better card then the 1660, even the 1660 TI won't even come near it
