No one knows what your card can do, only you though testing.

Get MSI Afterburner.
Get Unigine Heaven, or Furmark.
Run either, and bump core clock up by +5 every 5 mins, then when the program crashes/artifacts appear, drop it down by 5, and test it for an hour or two, if it crashes, drop it down another 5.
When it doesn't crash, you've got a stable overclock.
Do the same for memory.

I doubt it will give a super noticeable increase in frame rate though, so it's up to you to decide with the overclock you get.

You literally flashed your 480 with a 580 BIOS, which cooks the VRMs of the 480....and you're telling him not to overclock in a program where all the sliders are SUPER controlled? And maxing them won't brick the card at all?
Overclocking a GPU is one of the safest things you can do.

only if he/she knows to set to factory levels if it starts acting all weird flashing and overclocking are two different things i basically deceived my pc to read a gpu its not trying to get more performance by tweeking clock speeds is different. good luck it is safe but not really worth doing with the 1050ti id just get a 1060 or something in reality

>Drag slider to start or type 0 into the box.
It's not hard to revert an overclock....

And, flashing can do more damage* than overclocking, because all GPUs these days have restrictions on them; meaning it would be very hard to actually damage them.
(*That's why I mentioned it.)

It's worth overclocking with any GPU, be it a GT 730, or RTX Titan. It's performance you can get for pretty much zero cost, or drawbacks.
