How do i make my laptop cooler while gaming?

Hi, does anybody know how can i make my laptop cooler while gaming without a cooling pad? It goes up to 90-95 degrees and i dont know why. Recently i sent the laptop to cleaning and they removed the dust. That was like a month ago and its becoming hot again. How can i fix this?

using it as a desktop
i.e. flat on a hard table surface and connect it to external monitor keyboard mouse, etc... and close the lid

when i use my laptop like a desktop and not on my lap its significantly cooler
(your clothes bag up in the vents and such and make the fans not work so a hard table makes it cool better)

It's the most realistic thing next to external USB Fans with rubber feet and grills. There's not much else you can do unless you want to use a standing fan blowing air at it which would be very poor in cooling compared to the realistic results. If you can't get one of these things, you'll need to improvise.

You can also get something to put under it without blocking vents, that would raise it off of the surface which can in many cases help reduce temps a little bit.

I have a broken cooling pad so i place it on that and then i use it as a desktop so thats not a problem.

Undervolt the cpu. This is a good trick to apply to any laptop where it is possible to do.

You either want a cooling pad anyways though or use something like a small cooling rack from kitchen supplies to sit under the laptop and elevate it for better airflow. Also a 8th gen laptop is old now, take it apart and blow out all the dust from the fan, heatsink areas and all within your keyboard and such. Usb ports can collect and trap dust also.

If possible, undervolt the CPU. It'll take away a little bit of heat, but other than that, you'll basically have to use a cooling pad later

Again though, an 8th Gen laptop is quite old now. It is most likely just time to take it apart and blow out ALL of the dust from every part of it. Many laptops that are using for Gaming alot, well these users make a much higher usage of that cooling fan system running at higher RPMs much more then your average user; such as someone who uses a Laptop mainly for Work. So what does occur is that fan wears out over time and will need replacing. You can buy a replacment OEM cooling fan off of Ebay. Just search on Ebay for your exact laptop model and you should be able to find loose replacement parts such as Screens, Batteries, Power Bricks, Fan, Heatsink, Keyboard, Touchpad; etc.

If your CPU is throttling then it's going to lose a lot more performance than any performance loss incurred by undervolting if the undervolt causes lower turbo clocks.

There's no way to win with laptops these days. They're just not built for raw performance, just the convenience of having a gaming computer that you can take with you... nor can they tailor them for performance much without sacrificing battery life and severely undercutting the portability as a result.

You make a laptop cooler by selling it and getting a desktop instead.

Edit: seriously, unless you NEED to play on the move, you should be using a desktop. And if you need to carry a computer for school/work, you should get a cheapest laptop you can find pretty much.

You still need to undervolt the CPU; pretty much anyone with these thin so called gaming laptops has to do this. The thin ones simply will not cool well enough on their own. Get a quiet cooler pad that has large fan(s); small ones make more noise.

I can't, i bought this laptop for about $850 and i guess i can get a good pc for that but not a monitor they are expensive and i dont have enough money for even a $100 monitor.

You can use any HDTV laying around until you can afford a Monitor.

But no, due to how things are right now, a decent gaming Desktop would easily be closer to $2000 or so
