Does it randomly restart, or does it just suddenly lose power and come back on? Distinct difference.

If it's restarting (actually says so), it's probably Windows automatically restarting for updates. If it just shuts off randomly without warning and comes back on, it's probably a power supply issue, likely since you're using a garbage PSU series from Thermaltake.

Obviously an overheat or high power usage problem, comps don't just restart over nothing.

Try getting a program that monitors your CPU,GPU temps in particular.

Depending on how long you've had the comp, window 10 does not update regularly. After the first week or so, updates should be sporadic at best.

cpu/gpu will throttle before rebooting
unless the drivers dont know how to handle the way its throttling

get the correct drivers from the mobo site and update bios

You mean PSU? Opt for something from SeaSonic.

Very likely that you got a bad PSU (if new) or it's just worn out (if old)

Abrupt restart is a hardware fault. Windows will restart your pc if it finds an issue with the hardware in an attempt to save your data. So, this is actually a good thing. It means Windows is working well. The bad thing is your hardware is not.
You need to look in event viewer and it might give you a clue. Look for events at the same time as the abrupt restart. In my experience abrupt restarts are faulty ram or faulty ram settings.

Thats not a "shut down" then; thats a forced reboot; which is pretty much always going to be caused by a terrible PSU that simply isn't good enough for your hardware.

If you use Ryzen or Intel 8th Gen or newer; please use a PSU model that was actually presented to market no older then 2017 to help ensure it has modern specs. Also helps to go with a good known reliable model from a well known trusted brand and that is Gold or Platinum certified rating.

Such as something from EVGA, BeQuiet, Corsair, SeaSonic, SilverStone

Thermaltake does make some good stuff, but not PSUs.

if you plan on upgrading, or using the psu for the next build 650+w
seasonic, corsair (not v series), evga, bequiet
