2070S to 3060 ti worth

considering i sell my current one and buy the 3060 ti for an extra 100 but then again will a 650 watts can handle it?

Not really, certainly not worth the extra $100. More importantly, are you even sure you can find a 3060Ti that isn't being scalped to high hell at this point?

Solely my opinion, but from something that is plus or minus GTX 1080 Ti level performance, anything less than an RTX 3080 is too small of a jump if you're paying full cost for an upgrade.

Since you are saying you can effectively get the upgrade for $100, it's probably worth it, especially with today's pricing. It's a relatively small increase, but a small price.

And if your PSU is handling an RTX 2070 Super, it'll handle the RTX 3060 Ti fine, as it should use a bit less than it.

some stores are actually selling them but instore pick up though since im not in the US price may differ due to probably GST n such

Yeah pretty much any high end card will bring big bucks right now, if you've got a good one scalp that ♥♥♥♥♥. 2x to 3x profit is nothing to sneeze at.

That being said I hate scalpers in general for inflating pricees :)

Even the totally BS GT 1030 goes for double the MSRP, do the math.

Imho it's 1080ti territory to slightly higher than 1080ti territory. A 3070 tho that might be worth it.

The next logical step up would be 3070 or 3080 Ti.

People looking at 3080 Ti already, this comes out in May. You can get an evga membership in order to jump onto a 3080 Ti PreOrder priority list.

3070 is hard to find and will very soon be replaced with 3070 Ti after the 3080 Ti release in middle of May
