I suspect my neighbor upgraded their router to make my connectivity spotty in the furthest rooms since they were on the same channel - over 400 APs show up in my scanner app lol
Try reset it, and see if it fixes the issue. Wait about 5 mins before turning it back on.
about once a month or so; by turning it off, leave it off for about 5-10 mins, then turn it back on and wait about 5 mins for the signal from ISP and for the WiFi cache + clients to be cleared; then jump back onto it again.
But again, doesn't hurt to log into the Router (via a PC thats on a wired connection) and double check all of the settings. Make sure the 2.4Ghz and 5.0Ghz SSID are different. You can have the same PW for both though if that makes things easier for your house-hold.
I reset mine once a week. And do a factory reset like every 6 months. Suprisingly my 8 year old Router still receives firmware updates.
As users should be getting these hardware replaced entirely every 3-5 years
This is a pretty good overview on how / why to use the wifi scanner app, will explain a lot of things

Also not a bad idea to change your wifi password every so often, I do every 6 months these days...
